Measuring Exhaled Limonene in Cirrhosis Patients
35 minute webinar presented by Giuseppe Ferrandino, aired on 30th July
Giuseppe Ferrandino, Metabolomic Scientist, presents ‘Measuring Exhaled Limonene in Cirrhosis Patients’.
This 35 minute webinar gives an overview of the science behind breath biomarkers and features our own pilot study and other published works showing that cirrhotic patients have raised levels of limonene in their breath. This phenomenon is observed because of the reduced liver capability to metabolize limonene.
