The problems we are trying to solve at Owlstone Medical are enormously difficult. To enable our progress, we’ve fostered a dynamic working environment that allows our talented and dedicated multidisciplinary team to flourish, work together and help each other.

Our ethos is passionate and determined but also fast-paced and flexible. We’re always prepared to follow the data – and we have a lot of fun together too!

In September 2023 we were proud to be a Silver Winner for ‘Employer of the Year’ at the annual SME Cambridge Business Awards – an award which recognizes our company-wide commitment and dedication to looking after our employees.

Our Social Committee works to keep everybody at Owlstone Medical feeling included with a range of clubs and societies such as netball and football for our sport enthusiasts, book clubs and learning societies, flamenco dancing, cocktail masterclasses, alongside regular company-wide social events.

And with the help of our Green Committee we’re continuously improving on our commitment to be a green place to work.

We believe that big problems can only be solved by working smart and working together, so we’ve created spaces that encourage collaboration, but we have also reserved areas where people can focus on their own.

We find that our toughest challenges are solved by our people coming together in our fantastic offices. In support of this we offer flexible working arrangements, with a balance of hybrid and office working depending on your role.
