Meet the team:
Dr Huw Davies has over 30 years experience working with novel technologies that enable the diagnosis and treatment of major human diseases. In his current role, Huw leads a global commercial team responsible for growing Owlstone Medical’s Breath Biopsy® collaborations and service business with leading pharmaceutical companies and academic partners to identify and deploy novel non-invasive breath biomarkers for precision medicine and disease diagnosis.
Dr Rui Lopes’s clinical experience as a physician has allowed him to successfully develop a career in clinical development and research, where he has worked extensively in gastroenterology, respiratory disease and several other therapeutic areas. Rui now leverages his clinical expertise as a Medical Advisor for Owlstone, to guide and advise the development and implementation of healthcare products.
Mr. Carlson is the Chief Commercial Officer of OMED Health, the patient-facing division of Owlstone Medical. He is a seasoned commercial executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in clinical diagnostics, medical devices, and analytical instrumentation. Known for launching innovative diagnostics in GI, oncology, and immunology, Robert combines strategic vision with hands-on execution in sales, marketing, and business development. He holds a B.S. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California San Diego and advanced certifications in chemistry and leadership.
