Robert McCarthy

Biography

Robert joined Owlstone Medical in 2019 to lead the development and commercialisation of the FAIMS technology for use in Defence and Security markets. He has since become a Senior Programme Manager where he is responsible for creating the overall strategy and roadmap including the management and leadership of delivery teams working towards developing and delivering new tests.

Robert brings over 20 years’ experience in Product Development and Project Management working for Cambridge based technology companies, covering a variety of industries including consumer products, flexible electronics and Industrial ink jet.

Prior to joining Owlstone Medical, Robert was the Director of Programme Management for Gentex Corp where he was responsible for the development of their innovative situational awareness and respiratory products.
